If you're in Honolulu, this is a tourist attraction that you inevitably cannot bypass We visited Ala Moana on our last day in Waikiki - it's a short bus ride - to buy some gifts and treat ourselves. Yes, a lot of the shops are at the higher end of the scale but there were still plenty to satisfy us - we loved the "I Didn't Know I Wanted One Of Those" store and the Cowboy store.

If you are staying in Waikiki it's certainly worth a trip. My husband and two kids loved it so much at Ala Moana we went twice. The shops are amazing, so much variety from the luxury brands to the family budget brands such as Old Navy and Macys.
